Changes to E&O Board of Directors and staff

March 2022

Dennis Fimrite became the new chair of E&O in February 2022. Dennis has over 30 years of real estate experience including as a managing broker (commercial leasing and sales, rental property management and strata management). He lives and works in Victoria after starting as a commercial salesperson in Edmonton, Alberta. He has served the Victoria Real Estate Board as chair of the commercial division, a member of the board and president. He has also served as a member of the Real Estate Council.

At the same time, Scott Wallace became vice-chair. Scott has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry and was the managing broker for Maxwell Realty Invermere. He has also served as director of the Kootenay Real Estate Board and was a member of BCREA’s Standard Forms Committee. Prior to obtaining his real estate licence, Scott was an insurance broker in Calgary for more than 24 years.

In November 2021, we welcomed two new staff members, Deavah Yerxa (office administrator/bookkeeper) and Sierra Liptak (legal administrative assistant).
