Changes to E&O Board of Directors and staff

Marshall Cowe became the new chair of E&O in February 2021. Marshall is an associate broker with Royal LePage West Real Estate Services and has been active in real estate for 50 years. He’s served as a director of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and the BC Real Estate Association, as well as chair of the Real Estate Council. 

At the same time, Dennis Fimrite became vice-chair. Dennis is a managing broker at Firm Management in Victoria, where he’s worked since 1995 after five years as a commercial real estate salesperson in Edmonton. He’s served the Victoria Real Estate Board as a member of the board, chair of the commercial division and president, and has also been a member of the Real Estate Council.

We welcomed our newest staff lawyer, Jude Chow, in October 2020. Jude was called to the bar in 2016 and worked as legal counsel for ICBC before joining E&O. Jude’s years of experience in insurance defence and all aspects of civil litigation have prepared him well for his position as staff lawyer at E&O.
